Operation: Advantage was an endeavor by the Space Marine Corps to disable the Strogg communications network. The plan was to use an EMP bomb to destroy the Tetranode. Four convoys, codenamed Famine, Pestilence, War, and Death, will transport the bomb. It failed after a Harvester destroyed the bomb and killed Marian Bidwell. Matthew Kane and Johann Strauss decided to destroy the Tetranode by destroying the coolant tubes. It failed after the Makron intervened and captured Kane, having him sent to be Stroggified.
