In the Quake series, the Megahealth or 100 Health is a powerup that gives the user +100 health up to max health points (250 in Q1, 300/infinite in Q2, 200 in Q3 and Q4). However, the health will slowly rot away until the player's health is back to 100 (or back to the player's base health in Quake 2, depending on how many Adrenaline powerups they have consumed).

The Megahealth is usually a hotly-contested item in multiplayer. When the match starts, try to get control of the area that has the Megahealth before your enemies do. If you can't, try to strike when there's still fighting. If there's no fighting when you get to it, but somebody is occupying it, don't try and take it unless you have a very powerful weapon and some armor. If you don't you'll usually get blown away before you can take off half of your target's HP.
The Megahealth is also a great companion with any type of armor, from Green Armor to Heavy Armor. If you have Megahealth and a powerful armor, you'll be able to survive many attacks or being hit by stronger weapons like Railgun, exchange fire with your enemy, even when your armor runs out. Even with weak armor (or just Armor Shards), you should be able to survive for quite a while if you combine it with a Megahealth.
Once obtained, your health will be ticketing away to 100, however, you can pick up Regeneration to maintain 200 points, though this is rare.
Keeping the Megahealth in your control can sometimes be a decisive factor in a match.
This item is good for a CTF since there is always one in each base in some levels so run in, get the flag and leg it back to base before they know what hit them.
Though the magahealth is usually a multiplayer item, it made a few appearance in single player in Quake 2.
