The Star (called v_star.mdl by the game) was going to be a usable melee weapon in Dissolution of Eternity. Its model and its animations still exist in the game files, but errors frequently occur when the model is viewed and especially during its animation. There is no mention of this weapon anywhere in any of Dissolution of Eternity’s documents, which indicates that it was cut from the final product for unknown reasons.
