Daemia Maria Ruiz is a bot and a playable character at the Quake III Arena. She's the only Spanish-speaking bot in the game. She's good with a Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Plasma Gun. In "The Forgotten Place", she is paired up with Hossman. She excels in the use of a Plasma Gun.

The bounty hunter, Daemia, long ago stopped caring who or what was in her sights. Enemies are enemies whether they're human, alien, or demons from the pits of hell.

Profile

Daemia's tough, cynical and youthfully brash. Ex-military, her combat skills make her a formidable opponent but she doesn't take commands very well. She could easily be a female version of the 'hard-bitten male detective' type character. She's Boba Fett and Philip Marlowe rolled into one.

The life of a bounty hunter is never an easy one; do it long enough and you'll see just about everything eventually. Daemia Maria Ruiz will kill anything for the right price, and over the course of her career, she's killed about everything that walks, talks, or crawls. By now, she's seen things that would give even the toughest career campaigners nightmares, but Daemia shrugs them off and blows them away.

Daemia is a very good shot, but she's a tough target because of her penchant for jumping. Daemia's first love in terms of weapons is the shotgun, although she never hesitates to grab the rocket launcher when it is available. She's not shy about using the grenade launcher either. Daemia also loves the Quad, and will seek it out. Daemia takes her skills seriously and doesn't much fancy your chances, even when you kill her.
